I’m not just a family photographer, I’m a mom of four. I've been there.
I know how time moves faster than our hearts can keep up. One minute you’re snuggling an infant, and the next, you’re wondering how your baby is suddenly borrowing your clothes. You’re so deep in it, that sometimes it’s hard to see it. And it's even harder to slow down and really, truly feel it.
I'll guide you gently when needed, offering prompts and movement and structure, while leaving space for spontaneous and playful connection. There's no rigid posing or pressure to perform. We focus on creating an environment where your family can relax, interact and just be together.
Whether we’re photographing your family at home in Ann Arbor or outdoors somewhere meaningful in Michigan, this unhurried approach allows real connection to take shape naturally. This pace gives time for children to worm-up, personalities to emerge, and moments to unfurl naturally.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to do or how everything should look. I'll help with styling suggestions. You'll feel empowered to choose clothing that feels like you and photographs beautifully. We'll work together to select a location that aligns with your family's energy and fits into your story. I know getting family photographs can can feel heavy, but with my direction, preparation is simple and manageable.

I photograph families throughout Ann Arbor, South Lyon, Royal Oak, and the surrounding Southeast Michigan area, choosing locations that feel meaningful rather than simply “pretty.”

You might choose a family session in your backyard, your favorite neighborhood ice cream shop, a daily walk, or another place where your family’s rhythm already exists — a front porch at golden hour, a well-worn trail, a beach you return to every summer, or the kitchen where mornings begin. These familiar spaces invite ease and presence, allowing connection to surface without effort. When your family is photographed somewhere that already holds meaning, the images carry not just how you looked, but the feeling of this season of life.

I offer a limited number of family sessions in Northern Michigan, near Traverse City along the sweeping bluffs and dunes of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. This landscape invites an different type of experience that is expansive, grounding and deeply memorable. Towering dunes, open shorelines and ever-changing light create a setting that encourages your family to move and explore together. Children run, parents slow down, and the rhythm of love is palpable.
